The development of smarter, greener cities is creating new economic opportunities for technology companies today while creating a better, cleaner, more efficient lifestyle for those who will inhabit them for years to come. Join our expert panel as we explore how planners are using technology to design the cities of tomorrow and are implementing the latest technologies to increase both capacity and quality for city inhabitants while reducing environmental and visual impact. Dr Fitzgerald will set the stage with a mini keynote on innovation in communities based on her recent book, Emerald Cities. The panel will pick up the conversation and delve further into issues of how information technology can be deployed to achieve greater efficiencies.
