NASEO 2010 Annual MeetingSeptember 28 - October 1,2010 Join us in the "The Bay State" for NASEO's 2010 Annual Meeting on September 28-October 1, 2010, at the Sheraton Boston Hotel in Boston, Massachusetts. While the American Recovery and Reinvestment Act of 2009 (ARRA) continues to deliver unprecedented opportunities and challenges for the State and Territory Energy Offices and their partners, what lies beyond ARRA? Also, as the Administration evolves in Washington, D.C., keeping up with the pace of change at the U.S. Department of Energy and other agencies is critical. To prepare and inform conference attendees, NASEO has planned a full week of informative events, with the core conference agenda being complemented by ARRA and committee sessions, as well as site tours and in-depth tracks on topical issues. The 2010 NASEO Annual Meeting will serve as an essential opportunity for SEO directors, staff, and interested stakeholders to hear the latest on innovative financing and project implementation, clean energy technologies, and links between energy, environment, and transportation priorities. Mix, Meet, Mingle
Students are a core part of the New England cleantech economy -- working as interns and co-ops, and often going on to start their own companies! Please join Digital Lumens, Flybridge Capital Partners, and CHEN PR for an evening of mixing and mingling. There will also be a brief panel discussion discussing the roles of students in cleantech startups featuring:
Cleantech companies -- Come meet a mix of prospective candidates from a variety of local colleges and universities. Students -- Come meet cleantech companies you may want to learn more about! Drinks and hors d'oeuvres will be served
Please forward to any cleantech companies and students who may be interested. Thanks! ** There will be a collection for Donor's Choose, an online fundraising site where teachers post projects they are trying to fund. Donations of any size are much appreciated and will be given to an LED science project. Body
Our networking events create a relaxed and casual atmosphere where sustainability professionals come together every other month to exchange experiences, knowledge and ideas. We generally have about two guest speakers who give the group informal presentations relative to their niche in sustainability. Presentations are followed by a few hours of open networking and cocktails with some of Boston’s most prominent figures in sustainability and green practices. We have a great speaker lined up for you: John Katovich founded the Katovich Law Group in 2002, committed to responsible business development and assisting clients in integrating sustainable, social and environmentally responsible practices into their businesses at every level, while pursuing efforts to bring sustainable concepts into the capital markets. And our usual mix of a great venue and great networking! |
